For the last 13 years the Lake Lenore Lions club has hosted an annual fundraising fishing derby which draws in participants from across Saskatchewan. This year over 400 participants made the trek to the massive lake also called Lake Lenore. It's home to some of the best Walleye fisheries in Saskatchewan. The lake is also home to Northern Pike.
